Project Management
Leveraging an outside professional project manager allows internal staff to focus on their primary responsibilities, while gaining a wide range of expertise. To ensure a smooth integration of your wireless solution, PEAK Project Managers are actively engaged throughout the implementation cycle, working to reduce risk and securing success by:
  • Creating and building partnerships with customers.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing issues with potential company-wide impact.
  • Maintaining and managing project goals and responsibilities.
  • Following intensive quality assurances via standard, time-tested methodology and well-documented change control procedures.
Pilot and Test
Where applicable, PEAK will coordinate a pilot prior to deployment. Our pilot and test services include:
  • Verify hardware to host connectivity.
  • Verify sign-on to host system.
  • Perform hand held terminal (HHT) transactions provided by the customer for testing.
  • Have multiple users stress test the application to determine latency and load balancing.
  • Validate security functionality.
  • Validate proper hardware functionality (roaming, recovery, etc.).
  • Additional services are available upon request.

Installation
From our thorough pre-installation checklist to comprehensive implementation planning processes, PEAK ensures that your deployment goes smoothly long before the physical installation begins. Installation System Services from PEAK include:
  • Verification that you are ready to complete the installation, using our pre-installation checklist.
  • Unpacking, powering-up, configuring, and installing system components.
  • After installation, validation of host connectivity and RF propagation, per the site survey.
  • Installation documentation through an "As-Built" document that is provided to our telephone support group for technical support, if needed.
PEAK also offers comprehensive cabling and power infrastructure installation services. Utilizing a PEAK or other professionally provided site survey, PEAK will determine what network cable and power infrastructure services are required and assemble a tailored quotation for each site.

Go-Live Support
To ensure that your system and staff are online and up-to-speed quickly, a PEAK engineer provides on site Go-Live support during your critical system start up. PEAK engineers:
  • Provide on-site support through the Go-Live process for as long as you determine.
  • Proactively search for potential problems during the Go-Live stage that may have eluded earlier controls.
  • Identify and quickly resolve any glitches to ensure optimum system efficiency.
  • Provide further training and familiarization in the real-world environment.
Training
PEAK offers a variety of system administration and user training courses tailored to your specific needs and customized to your environment. Administration and user courses are available one on one (on the job), in the classroom and in “train the trainer” formats so you can train your workforce.
