COLUMBIA, MD (April 25, 2006) — PEAK Technologies, a Platinum Equity Company, announced today that it has agreed to sell its Telpar distribution unit to SYNNEX Corporation, a global IT supply chain services company. Telpar is a distributor of Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) and Point of Sale (POS) products. Telpar’s customers include value added resellers, integrators, independent software vendors, and other channel organizations. The transaction is expected to close on or before May 1, 2006. Telpar OEM, a manufacturer of its own line of direct thermal, impact and specialty printers, is unaffected by the sale of Telpar distribution and will remain a PEAK company.

The sale will also allow company resources who had roles and responsibilities which included supporting the Telpar distribution business to focus on better servicing existing and new PEAK customers.
