Zebra LP/TLP 2824 Barcode/Label Printer

Effective December 17, 2009, Zebra is announcing the discontinuance of the LP/TLP 2824™ series 2-inch desktop printers.

The 2824 Plus 2-inch printers will directly replace the 2824 2-inch desktop printers.

New orders will not be accepted after February 17, 2010.

• Maximum print width:  2.2" (56mm)
• Media width (label and liner):  1.00" to 2.36" (25.4mm to 60mm)
• Maximum print speed:  4"/sec (102mm/sec)
• Ribbon width:  1.33" to 2.24" (34mm to 57mm) (TLP only)
• Print method:  Direct thermal (LP) or direct thermal/thermal transfer (TLP)

The TLP 2824 can print on Thermal Transfer Labels which require a Ribbon
or Direct Thermal Labels which do not require a ribbon.

The LP 2824 prints on Direct Thermal Labels which do not require a ribbon.

LP/TLP 2824 printers include:  5.0" (127mm) OD media capacity, Head-up sensor, 512KB Flash memory and 128KB SRAM memory standard (expandable to 1MB Flash and 256KB SRAM), standard maximum label length of 11" (279mm) (22"/558mm with optional SRAM upgrade), supports EPL2 and Line Mode (LP only), ZebraDesigner? label design software and Windows? drivers.
