Zebra LP/TLP 2824-Z Barcode/Label Printer

Zebra has announced the discontinuance of the LP/TLP 2824-Z series 2-inch desktop printers.

The 2824 Plus 2-inch printers will directly replace the 2824-Z 2-inch desktop printers.

New orders will not be accepted after March 17, 2010.

• Media width (label and liner):  1.00" to 2.36" (25.4mm to 60mm)
• Maximum print speed:  4"/sec (102mm/sec)
• Ribbon width:  1.33" to 2.24" (34mm to 57mm) (TLP only)
• Print method:  Direct thermal (LP) or direct thermal/thermal transfer (TLP)

The TLP 2824-Z can print on Thermal Transfer Labels which require a Ribbon
or Direct Thermal Labels which do not require a ribbon.

The LP 2824-Z prints on Direct Thermal Labels which do not require a ribbon.

LP/TLP 2824-Z Printers include a 2" (51mm) printhead, up to 2" (512mm) print speed per second, 203 dpi resolution, 5.0" (127mm) OD media capacity, Head-up sensor, 4MB Flash memory and 8MB SDRAM memory standard (expandable to 8MB Flash with real time clock for a total of 12MB), supports Serial, Parallel and USB interfaces, standard maximum label length of 39" (991mm), supports ZPL II, ZebraDesigner label design software and Windows drivers included with every LP/TLP 2824-Z printer.
