Peak Technologies COVID-19 Update (Mar 26)

To Our Peak Technologies Customers,

In response to COVID-19, several states around the country have issued a shelter in place order and more are likely to be announced. We wanted to assure you that Peak Technologies is open for business and our team is here to serve our customers that qualify as essential critical infrastructure businesses. Our primary goal is to keep our employees, partners and customers safe while we continue providing the critical products and services our customers need to run their daily operations.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has published guidelines outlining “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers” in the United States during this ongoing COVID-19 situation. This list identifies, “workers who conduct a range of operations and services that are essential to continued critical infrastructure viability.”

As a provider of critical infrastructure technologies, Peak Technologies operates within the digital supply chain and mobile workforce enablement areas for most of the 16 Critical Infrastructure Sectors identified by CISA. Functioning critical infrastructure is imperative during the response to the COVID-19 emergency for both public health and safety as well as community well-being. Peak Technologies has a special responsibility in these times to continue supporting our customers by enabling operations with access to business applications and data from enterprise systems, and providing the ability to track vital goods throughout the supply chain to the point of final delivery.

CISA’s guidance and accompanying list are intended to support State, Local, and industry partners in identifying the critical infrastructure sectors and the essential workers needed to maintain the services and functions Americans depend on daily and that need to be able to operate resiliently during the COVID-19 pandemic response.

We want to reassure our customers that Peak Technologies’ distribution and managed services operations located in Georgia and New Hampshire are deemed essential business functions and will continue to operate to support your business. In addition, our major manufacturing and label converting partners have also provided us with reassurance that they will continue operating based on their role in these same vital industry sectors.

Our field-based customer service engineers that provide vital repairs to printers and other equipment used in mission-critical supply chain operations also continue to operate. In some states that have implemented shelter in place orders we are restricted by state law from performing services for any businesses not deemed an essential health care operation, food and necessary supply chain or critical infrastructure business.

While we remain operational as a critical infrastructure business, we are diligent about the safety of all involved and our role in helping to stop the spread of COVID-19. Based on the information available, we are asking and expecting that all Peak Technologies employees and our core operations abide by the following policies outlined on our website: https://www.peaktech.com/blog/corporate-announcements/covid-19-statement/

We are confident that by continuing to adhere to the policies we have in place and proactively identifying any future obstacles, we will get through this crisis together. Please reach out to your Peak Technologies sales account manager with any questions, concerns, or thoughts, or send a message to us at coronaresponse@peaktech.com.

Thank you for your partnership.

Peak-Ryzex is now
Peak Technologies

The last few months have been incredibly exciting for our organization.  In early April, we changed ownership to Sole Source Capital, an experienced private equity company focused on the industrial services market and committed to our growth. With Sole Source’s support, we have added tremendous capabilities, resources, and industry expertise to the Peak portfolio through the acquisition of three companies in the last 60 days.

Along with these exciting developments comes a renewed sense of commitment and purpose. To celebrate this exciting new chapter, we wanted to use this opportunity to reflect on our past, while looking forward to the future.  We are extremely pleased to announce that we have changed our company name to Peak Technologies, Inc.

For many of our long-time customers, this is a return to the company name that had been in place since our founding in 1981.  When we merged with Ryzex in 2011, we combined our names to symbolize the union of two industry leaders.  But over the last few years, we have become ONE Peak, added additional capabilities, battled through a pandemic together, and feel that the time is now to re-brand the company as we look forward to the future.
