Devices that are deemed unfit-for-purpose within your organisation are collected and sent to the British Heart Foundation for processing as part of the initiative.
British Heart Foundation uses the Blancco service, which wipes mobile handsets to a military standard, ensuring any remaining traces of sensitive data are fully sanitised.
Next, these devices are posted on the British Heart Foundation eBay shop, enabling those in need to obtain second-hand hardware at an affordable price point.
The British Heart Foundation funds around £100 million of research every year into all heart and circulatory diseases, and your donations will be a welcome contribution.
For every device donated, Peak Technologies will then plant a tree on your behalf through (more:trees). We will send you a certificate showing the amount of CO2 you have sequestered
